Aufgaben

• Design and implementation of network architectures (LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, Cloud Networks)
• Analysis of existing network infrastructures and identification of optimization potentials
• Selection of suitable network components and technologies
• Creation of security concepts and network policies
• Collaboration with IT security, system administration, and external service providers
• Documentation of network infrastructure and processes
• Support in error analysis and resolution in 3rd-level support

Profil

• Completed studies in computer science, network technology, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in network planning and administration
• In-depth knowledge of routing, switching, firewalls, VPN, DNS, DHCP, VLANs
• Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., PRTG, Nagios, Wireshark)
• Knowledge of cloud networks (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP) is essential
• Analytical thinking, structured working methods, and teamwork skills
• An independent, reliable, team- and service-oriented way of working rounds off your profile
• You enjoy occasional travel domestically and internationally and communicate fluent in German and English
